I was sitting in his bed this morning waiting so patiently for mom
or dad to come and get me. Little did I know mom had blown up a whole
bunch of balloons to dump in my bed this morning. After the initial
surprise with the intrusion of balloons I jumped right in kicking,
bouncing, and moving around all of the balloons. A great start to for my 1st birthday.

A birthday wouldn't be complete though without mommy taking tons of pictures of me, my elephant, and my birthday number 1! I guess I could give her a little show if it will make her happy.
After all of the excitement of waking up to balloons being dumped in my bed, I didn't know how this day could get any better. Again mommy and daddy had a surprise for me, and off to the MN zoo we went.

Animals, what animals? Puddles are way more fun! |

Riding the Monorail was very exciting at first, but it did put me to sleep.
I had a great time at the zoo. I did end up falling asleep in the last 1/2 hour that we were at the zoo, and did you know that a tiger escaped from the zoo. When I woke up he was right next to me. So I brought him home.
The day ended with a drive in movie of chipwrecked, a bath, and a good night story from my mommy. What a great 1st birthday! PS. The tiger was stuffed.
